I don't in the least bit know the patients for whom I am processing billing paperwork...
but every time I see the word, “benign,” I do a little happydance, and everytime I see “malignant,” I feel bad. For complete strangers!
I think that’s why the healthcare industry is for me… if you can’t bring yourself to care, then what’s the point?

My guess was way wrong… [spoiler!]
…then I remembered the scads of spoiled kids whose parents pay the college bills!!! I think if it were “average student loans for new grads who funded school solely on scholarships, savings, and loans” then the total would be a great deal higher!!! Let’s just say, I had my tuition covered through scholarships, borrowing only living expenses (which was also funded largely through jobs and savings) and I still have close to “average” debt. Hmm. What do you think?

e.e. cummings
Two years ago, my college-best-friend, Carl, and I ate some psylocybin (sp?) mushrooms. Remembering back to that afternoon is like visitng a GOLD MINE of potential OMG-AND-THEN…! stories, but there is only one I wish to focus on. I think of it on sunny, mild days with a light breeze. The kind of breeze that makes you hyper-aware of shadows and individual blades of grass and rocks and things.
We journied into the great outdoors armed with Carl’s high-tech digital camera, and just so I didn’t feel left out for not having anything to carry, an e.e. cummings book. I opened up some random pages, Carl opened up some not-so-random pages for me, and it was an absolutely perfect afternoon.
Tell me, poetry people: what is your favorite e.e. cummings poem, and why? Not even why, just shoot me some poems to wrap my bored little head around!?

Noooo!!! Blossom used to represent something to us young girls. Her sense of style rivaled that of Clarissa (Explains it All) and her HATS oh god her HATS!!!

Mayim Bialik, the star of Blossom, will re-emerge on the small screen on the premiere of What Not To Wear. The 33-year-old is looking for Stacy London and Clinton Kelly to bring her hippie wardrobe into the 21st century. No more big flower hats for you!
Bialik told TV Guide: “I’m not trendy, I’m not hip, I don’t understand fashion. I have weird taste. When you hear that you need a makeover from your mom or your best friend, you don’t take it seriously, but when you’re attacked on the street and shown yourself in this mirror that highlights how dumpy you look, it really hits home.”
I’m really not sure how to feel about this - Blossom was an ICON for a generation of misfits! And now she THIS!?!? Is this really a positive move for the washed-up actress?
